6 months agoThis is exactly the analysis my friend and I had. Spot on - he did his time and this was his authentic self. So healing for all of us 🩵
6 months agoyes!! what a great way to understand beyond the surface of a performance! there is an artistry to simplicity, just like how a lot of the general public will misunderstand most abstract visual arts or interpretive dance!
6 months agoYou said it right. I also feel that for me to judge it right, I’d have to be there. Watching other people’s phone videos don’t do the experience justice. Still, seeing even a small clip of him singing along to “Baby” touches the heart.
6 months agoTotally agree. I felt the same about his Grammys performance which received some of the same criticism. Being in person at the Grammys as a seatfiller and seeing his raw, live mixed and unfiltered performance on the biggest stage was one of the coolest experiences I've had.
