Inspired by the Gaza–Majdal thobe and traditional motifs such as the Cypress Tree and Cypress Pendant, the work reimagines embroidery as both structure and act: a form of survival.
Currently on view until 5/6 in Madrid at @realfabricatapices as part of the exhibition Al’qala, the work is presented within Sila, founded by @kiyanart

ترجع و تتعمر و تتحرر و hbin و يعيش فيها اولادها ، اولاد الشهداء ، و الله لا نصر او استشهاد ، حاشا ان تدوس قدم الكافر فيها ، منا و لنا اما نحن او نحن ، اللهم انصر ابناءها و ارجم سهداءها و قوي مجاهيديها ، ارزقهم الصبر و الطمأنية امسح على قلوبهم و احفظ هويتهم و تراثهم و ارضهم .
