MUI Sentil Balik Ahmad Sahroni soal Sikap MUI terhadap Konser Andrea Bocelli Wakil Ketua Umum Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), M. Cholil Nafis, kembali melayangkan kritik kepada Wakil Ketua Komisi III DPR RI, Ahmad Sahroni. Kritik tersebut merespons pernyataan Sahroni yang meminta MUI fokus mengurus sertifikasi halal ketimbang ikut campur dalam persoalan konser. Melalui akun X resminya, Cholil menilai Sahroni belum memahami esensi tugas dan fungsi MUI, termasuk landasan konstitusional di balik sikap tegas MUI dalam mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina. Cholil menegaskan bahwa dukungan terhadap kemerdekaan Palestina merupakan amanat Pembukaan UUD 1945 yang menyatakan bahwa penjajahan di atas dunia harus dihapuskan. “Ini banyak yang tak ngerti tentang tugas MUI. Ini soal peneguhan UUD 45 bahwa Indonesia anti penjajahan dan berpihak pada kemerdekaan Palestina, maka semua yang mendukung penjajahan harus kita tolak. Apa Sahroni yang anggota DPR RI itu paham ini ya?” tulis Cholil Nafis. Selain itu, Cholil meluruskan anggapan Sahroni mengenai kewenangan sertifikasi halal. Ia menjelaskan bahwa kewenangan utama penyelenggaraan jaminan produk halal berada di tangan Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH), sesuai ketentuan perundang-undangan. Cholil juga menegaskan bahwa MUI bukan lembaga pemerintah, melainkan wadah musyawarah organisasi kemasyarakatan Islam yang menjalankan misi dakwah serta amar makruf nahi mungkar. Menurutnya, menyuarakan pandangan kebangsaan, persoalan kemanusiaan global, hingga dinamika sosial masyarakat merupakan bagian dari komitmen MUI. Sebelumnya, MUI menyatakan penolakan terhadap rencana konser Andrea Bocelli dan Israel Houghton di Indonesia karena keduanya dinilai memiliki keterkaitan dengan Zionisme Israel. Sikap tersebut mendapat sorotan dari Ahmad Sahroni. Melalui akun Instagramnya, Sahroni meminta MUI lebih fokus menyelesaikan agenda internal organisasi, termasuk persoalan sertifikasi halal. “MUI fokus pada kerja-kerja Sertifikat Halal. I've never worked on a project of this scale before and I'm discovering that being a series regular is truly like running a marathon or three. - (To put it into perspective, I think the longest project I worked on before this was 20 days??) - From moving out to LA to work with strangers, not knowing where we'd live yet, to now feeling like I'm working with family. I'm truly so grateful for this opportunity and I'm getting so much faster at memorizing. - I can't wait for you all to see our little world of Love Comes Softly on @upfaithandfamily coming 2027!! - Fun Fact: My mom's name is Sarah and she taught for many years, so I'd like to think this character is dedicated to her.
