Everything came to a sudden halt, and I found myself in a place I never expected to be.

Plans were cancelled, and I became completely reliant on the people around me.

As I battled physical pain, I was also facing a battle within.

I didn’t ask for this.
I felt frustrated.
Fed up.

But deep down, I knew I needed to let go—
and learn to trust.

To entrust my care to my family,
my doctors,
and God.

Surrender didn’t come easily.
It felt like I was losing so much.

But in the solitude, I realised I wasn’t losing anything.

God was healing deeper—
restoring and transforming what was already there.

What felt like everything being taken away
was actually the beginning of something deeper.

A transformation.

It’s still hard.
Most days are up and down.

But I am learning to embrace surrender
as it leads me into wholeness…
and into holiness.
