To mark Lesbian Visibility Week, the stars of I Kissed a Girl have come together with @sltstudios_ to highlight the importance of sapphic representation 🧡
Last month, in a huge blow to LGBTQIA+ TV viewers, the BBC announced that I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl had both been cancelled due to “funding challenges”.
As a result, the faces of IKAG S1 - Georgia, Thea, Fiorenza, Amy, Nae and Cara - have teamed up with Spalding’s jewellery brand @sltstudios_ in an act of defiance against the decline of sapphic on-screen representation.
As Cara shares, “If you can’t see yourself represented on TV, how are you supposed to live it yourself?”

Terrible show. Inauthentic women just looking for fame, not actual love. Yes I know that's really the core of it, but at least be less obvious about it, right? 😂
