During a walk, I came across this beautiful heritage-listed De Valk windmill in Berkel en Rodenrijs, located in the Bergboezem area of De Groenzoom. Built in 1772, the windmill originally drained the Berkel polder and has been used as a residence since 1954. The peaceful landscape with the cows in the foreground made this a truly classic Dutch scene. 🇳🇱📸

I didn’t plan or expect it, but the kestrel flew by and I got it in focus. Sometimes the best shots just happen by chance.

📚: Did you know kestrels can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h (62 mph) when diving to catch their prey?
——————————————————————————————

While walking back home, I spotted this beautiful great spotted woodpecker clinging to a tree. I didn’t have my camera with me, so I ran home to grab it. Luckily, it was still there when I returned, and I managed to capture this moment 🪵🪶📸

The white stork (Ciconia ciconia), a magnificent bird that also symbolizes new life and good fortune. 🤍🖤

Did you know that white storks can travel up to 10,000 kilometers during their migration between Europe and Africa? They use thermal air currents to conserve energy and often fly in groups to support each other.
——————————————————————————————

I can’t return this call bc No Caller ID but I need to know if I just missed the most important call of my life from @kamalaharris or if I’m being elaborately punked by AI?!? (My husband believes I am, I don’t, but full disclosure… when I was in college I once believed one of those calls telling me I won a cruise)

PLEASE HELP! How does one get in touch with MVP!? (also this call got through my full voicemail so maybe that’s a special feature she has?? and does this mean I need to pick up No Caller ID from now on? she should have a special type of No Caller ID that's the equivalent of a diplomatic license plate)

UPDATE: IT’S REAL AND I AM … excited for the midterm elections GO VOTE!!

We have a crazy weekend ahead with a swim meet and a regatta so we decided to a ton of meal prep done so we could focus on hanging out this weekend and have an easy start to the work week!

The breakfast sandwiches were so easy to make and SO GOOD !! Happy Halloween!!
