Dashmesh Khalsa

Our new album is now released worldwide! I'm excited for everyone to hear it. I am very fortunate to have collaborated with two incredible musicians, the prolific Norwegian guitarist/composer Erik Wøllo @erikwollo whom I have been a big fan of for around 16 years and my longtime mentor/friend the legendary Byron Metcalf @drbamaz. Also, it's bandcamp friday which means all proceeds from bandcamp go directly to the artist. Available on all streaming platforms.

Brief excerpt about the album:

"The Cave of Light and Shadow is a sonic journey built from the interplay of contrasting forces—dark and light, earth and sky, rhythm and melody. The drums, rattles, and deep grooves of Byron Metcalf and Dashmesh, along with Dashmesh’s didgeridoo, form the pulse at its core, grounding the listener in the primal and earthly. Atmospheres, nature soundscapes along with guitar textures, sequencers, and melodic lines by Erik Wøllo open the listener’s awareness skyward. Together, these elements do not simply coexist—they converge at a threshold, the point where two worlds meet."
