Allison had surgery this afternoon in Nashville by one of the top surgeons here at a Centennial/Vanderbilt. We’re happy to share that the chemo calcified the sarcoma and was able to be removed and a full knee replacement occurred, sparing loss of limb. This was the best news we could ask for. The surgeon said all went according to plan.
She will now learn how to walk with her new knee and other bionic joint parts and undergo a few more rounds of chemo in about a month.
We all want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the well wishes, go fund me donations and positive thoughts and prayers. Still more work to be done but she is feeling all the blessings bestowed upon her. 🫶🏼
