I won a Gold Medal at the @jjworldleague California Championship this weekend in #LongBeach.Thank you to the legend, Professor @billthegrillcooper, for being in my corner and coaching me to victory. Bill was my first Gi coach when I started and was the youngest American to receive a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at that time. There are two types of people in the world: those who are afraid to be Vanessa Burgundy...and @vanessaburgundy.4x5 B&W sheet film photograph of Vanessa Burgundy for @bettiepagerum taken with Irving Klaw's personal Crown Graphic camera which was used by Irving and his sister Paula Klaw to photograph many of the famous Bettie Page photos we see today.As I indicated in a previous post, this is the FIRST TIME that large format 4x5 sheet film has been used in Irving Klaw's camera since he retired in 1963 (polaroid shots were taken a few years ago) so I made sure to process the sheet film at my house to control the entire process.
