Join us at 5 Howick Place SW1P 1WG, where @clareeburnett will be in conversation with art historian @sophielachowsky as they walk and talk through the ideas, materials and processes that shape Burnett’s practice.
Moving through the exhibition together, they will discuss how Burnett’s multi disciplinary background informs her approach to making. They will reflect on her use of everyday, found and fabricated objects, her sensitivity to colour and spatial relationships, and the ways in which contemporary themes of collecting, consumerism, surveillance, and cultural history feed into her quietly subversive, playful and thoughtful body of work.
