Lagos Meet

Bode-Olatunji Caleb is a Lagos-based illustrator, character designer, and visual storyteller whose practice is rooted in digital illustration and character-driven world-building. Working under the moniker @art_0f_caleb , he has built a growing portfolio and online presence focused on developing original characters and narrative concepts through expressive, design-led visuals.

Caleb’s work is defined by strong character identity and intentional world-building. He explores how form, silhouette, costume, and expression work together to communicate personality and story at a glance, often placing his characters within larger imagined worlds shaped by mood, symbolism, and structured storytelling.

His creative direction is influenced by storytelling blended with grounded cultural and visual textures, reflected in stylized design choices, African-inspired motifs, and detailed visual elements that help anchor his characters in immersive settings.

Professionally, Caleb has gained experience through commissioned character design work, freelance illustration, and visual development for both personal and collaborative creative projects.

Across his practice, he continues to balance imagination with discipline, creating characters that are visually striking while still rooted in thoughtful, intentional design.
