My birding buddy, of course is my lovely partner Jasmine! I went to school for biology & medicinal plants & have spent countless hours outside, but yet it took meeting the love of my life to find such joy in birding 🕊️She invited me into her world of interest last year & we haven't looked back! My favorite memory (there's been a few) but it was when we went to DC & spotted a Bald Eagle on the Potomac 🤩 or even the time we spotted a Baltimore Oriole on the trail in our own new neighborhood 🧡 every time she gets a new lifer she has the biggest smile & that's my absolute favorite thing to see 🥹🫶🏽

She's so dedicated to teaching & sharing that love for our feathered friends that's she'll be helping with Black Birders week with a Falconry 101 session 🦅🦉
