What a busy few days we have had here at Middle Farm!
We were delighted to host The Makers Fair across the weekend, bringing together a wonderful selection of local artisans, craftspeople and producers, and showcasing handmade goods, creative talent and the very best of our local community. We had the pleasure of Sarah from Plumpton Estate joining us at The Makers Fair on Sunday too, for wine tasting in the Cider Barn which was enjoyed by many!
On Monday evening, we were pleased to welcome Sussex Food and Drink for the Lewes District launch of their Sussex Six campaign. Created to help people buy, serve and celebrate local food and drink. Sussex Six encourages shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and caterers to pledge to take on at least six Sussex-sourced products, helping to support local producers, reduce food miles and showcase the very best of Sussex food and farming. A big thank you must be mentioned to our entire team whose hard work, dedication and good spirit ensured everything ran so smoothly throughout.
It was a very warm, vibrant and thoroughly enjoyable weekend - and a pleasure to see so many people come together to celebrate the best of Sussex.
