A shout out is long overdue.
Back in 2022,
@king_shet was hit by a drunk driver while in his vehicle. Which left him fighting for his life. Thankfully He pulled through. He ended up with a brain injury, which makes movement very difficult. At one point he was bound to a wheelchair.
Today, he hands me his phone and asks to record him. This dude starts doing burpees! For the first time since his accident, he’s out here doing burpees!
Every day he shows up to the gym, he’s one of the most pleasant, positive and encouraging individuals.
For a man who looked death in the face, to show up to the gym, encourage others, and push himself to regain his strength and movement, is absolutely inspiring.
He’s not a client of mine. But he is a member of our community here at 614, and I couldn’t be more proud of his dedication and drive!
