Sam Elsom

An inspiring evening attending the @australianmuseum Talbot Oration delivered by Terry Garcia.
At a time when trust in science, evidence and institutions has never been more important, @australianmuseum continues to play a vital role in advancing scientific discovery, communicating knowledge, and helping society better understand the challenges and opportunities facing our planet.
The Museum’s leadership in sustainability, climate science and public engagement demonstrates the powerful role that science can play when it is made accessible, relevant and connected to everyday life.
I am honoured to contribute as an Advisory Member of the Climate Solutions Centre, supporting its mission to accelerate the ideas, partnerships and innovations needed to address some of our greatest environmental challenges.
My thanks to Terry Garcia for a thought-provoking address and to Kim McKay, @climatejenx the Australian Museum team for their continued leadership in science, sustainability and education.
