For the last 24 years Dustin and I have gathered friends, family and the snowboard community together to remember our childhood friend Carson Ianson. A few times the road to this spot has been kept closed by Forest Service or snowed in when the rotary was broken but we always have gathered in memory of our friend. Over the years we have lost more close friends making this gathering even more important and special. Ashes have been spread and my wife even proposed to me on top of this QP. Over the years the numbers have varied from 60-200+ people. Covid year there was 7 of us and last year 6. This year was just Dustin and I out at the QP site and it was perfect. Thanks for being such a solid friend for all these years Dustin. Love you very much. Hope we have a good winter so we can build the QP proper next year.
