Chessie's, a very small coffee house.
For the past year, under the mentorship of my friend Rui Obara, I have been roasting and brewing coffee focused around dark roasts. This process requires different techniques, lending itself to the methods of Showa era coffee houses in Japan.
I would like to share this coffee with the public, so Chessie's is my opportunity to serve others. Fresh roasted coffee will be individually poured and each serving is paired with a homemade breakfast dessert.
Designer dishware for serving was chosen with purpose by Janet Speier.

$6 for a serving of coffee and paired dessert
20 servings will be prepared
