Schillerplatz mit historischer Kulisse

Der Schillerplatz in Stuttgart erinnert mit seinem Denkmal an den berühmten Dichter Friedrich Schiller. Historische Sehenswürdigkeiten und Baudenkmäler wie das Alte Schloss sind hier zu sehen. Der charmante Platz wird als Marktplatz genutzt und wird u.a. von der Stiftskirche begrenzt. Sie ist das älteste Bauwerk in Stuttgarts Zentrum und wurde 1240 gebaut.

Schillerplatz with its historic backdrop

Schillerplatz in Stuttgart features a monument commemorating the famous poet Friedrich Schiller. Historic sights and architectural landmarks such as the Old Palace can be seen here. This charming square is used as a market place and is bordered, amongst other things, by the Stiftskirche. It is the oldest building in Stuttgart city centre and was built in 1240.
