My dad CRIED when he saw us… but that wasn’t the part that got me the most. 🥹❤️ Last Sunday, in the middle of a nor’easter, we drove from New York to Atlantic City to surprise my dad for his 75th birthday, have dinner, and see his favorite comedian. Watching my husband go out of his way to make my dad feel loved hit me differently. I realized I was standing in a moment I once prayed for. I always asked God for a husband who wouldn’t just marry me, but would love my family as his own. And He gave me exactly that. ❤️ Swipe to see the moment Dad realized we were there. 🥹
