🔬USCB student interns Kadience Hunter, Sebastian Ytuarte and Ariel Avant are testing water samples collected weekly from the Broad, Beaufort, and Chechessee rivers. In the Marine Sciences lab on the Beaufort Campus, they're testing total chlorophyll and total suspended solids and culturing single cell micro-algae. Their summer internships are supported by partnerships with Beaufort County, the Town of Bluffton and Port Royal Sound Foundation.
