A huge thank you to **@themichelleblue** and **@stfranciscollege** for inviting **The XyayX Institute** to participate in **Brooklyn Builds**.
It was an incredible opportunity for our students to **lead an Introduction to Physical Computing & Embedded Systems** workshop.
Now here’s what I want everyone to notice...
Our **Black students** were teaching students from schools across New York City—including many from some of the city’s top schools—who had **never been introduced to this level of hands-on STEM.**
Think about that.
Our students weren’t just participating...
**They were leading.**
They demonstrated robotics, electronics, physical computing, engineering projects, 3D printing, and the innovative work they’re doing every day at The XyayX Institute.
This is what representation looks like.
This is what empowerment looks like.
This is what happens when our children are given the opportunity to learn, build, and lead.
🎓 **Parents:** If you want your child to be building robots instead of just reading about them... designing circuits instead of only taking tests... and becoming a leader in STEM...
