1 YEAR IN RUGBY ✅
365 days ago, I walked into my local grassroots rugby club for my first training session. I hadn’t played since I was 11, but I finally found the courage to step outside my comfort zone (second picture).
The social media journey? Completely unintended! My partner set it up just to track my progress. What happened next has been unimaginable. The community, the matches, the new clubs (third picture), and the experiences (fourth picture) have been a total dream.
It hasn’t been easy. Learning a sport from scratch as an adult while running a business and juggling life is tough especially with my own high expectations but in this I’ve tested myself mentally and physically, taken heavy hits, recovered from injuries, and pushed myself past my limits, all while being told I’m «too old,» despite feeling fitter and stronger than ever!
Year 1 is done, but this is just the beginning. I’m so excited for what God has in store next so here’s to pushing further and inspiring more people to try something new. Don’t let anyone limit what you think is possible because you are capable of more than you know!
