When Boys, Beauty and Brains become your identity the fruit is pride, envy, idolatry and broken relationships. And beyond the 3B, many women are also carrying identities built on their trauma, their failures, their addictions and what people have spoken over them. None of that is who you are.
God identifies you the same way he identifies his own Son. Accepted. Affirmed. Appreciated. That identity is permanent. It cannot be taken from you. And because Jesus Christ defeated sin, death and hell, none of your past has the final word over your future.
But we also looked at three women from scripture. Eve, Sarah and Lot’s wife. Three different ways women block themselves from walking in the identity God has given them. Chasing what God never said. Refusing to wait on what God promised. And looking back at what God told them to leave.
The question is honest and simple. Which one are you?
Not to condemn you. But to free you. Because God is not finished with you.
Rise, ladies. You are the Bride of Christ. Walk like it.
