BAND ANNOUNCEMENT: VOLUME

Formed in Southern California in 1993, VOLUME made its mark in the early days of the desert and heavy rock underground with the release of Requesting Permission to Land and appearances at influential festivals including Stoner Hands of Doom and Emissions from the Monolith.

After a two-decade hiatus, the band returned with renewed purpose, reissuing Requesting Permission to Land before releasing a series of singles and the full-length Joy of Navigation (A Trip to the Eternal Unknown). The album features contributions from Ed Mundell (Monster Magnet), Mike Amster (Nebula, Brant Bjork Trio), and Dave Catching (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal).

VOLUME delivers heavy, psychedelic, fuzz-drenched rock built on killer riffs, hypnotic grooves, and songs that hit with equal parts weight and atmosphere. For their RippleFest appearance, Patrick Brink is joined by the guys in Black Moon Cult, bringing a powerful live lineup to the stage as VOLUME continues its next chapter.
