In the viral clip, the man can be heard saying, “Modi aur Amit Shah ki m** c**d denge,” while speaking to a person recording the interaction. He then attempts to justify his language by claiming that abuse was the only way to make the government listen.
The Tatva could not independently verify when the video was recorded or establish the identity or organisational role of the man appearing in it. No official statement from CJP regarding the remarks was available at the time of publication.
The clip has drawn sharp reactions online, with several users condemning the language and questioning whether such remarks undermine the larger cause being raised by protesters. Others called for action against the individual while maintaining that one participant’s comments should not automatically be attributed to the entire movement.
The CJP-led demonstrations have been taking place at Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities and paper leaks in competitive examinations. Protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, reforms in the examination system and accountability for failures affecting millions of students.
The movement has received support from activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been observing a prolonged hunger strike, as well as opposition leaders and public figures. The Delhi High Court has also directed authorities to monitor Wangchuk’s health and intervene on medical advice if his condition deteriorates.
