I used to collect these symptoms one by one without realizing they were connected.

A fast heart rate from just standing up. Random flushing. Dizziness that would hit out of nowhere. Feeling overheated when everyone else was fine. I thought it was just my anxiety.

It wasn’t until later that I understood there was a pattern underneath all of it.

If you have POTS, did your first symptoms look the same or different than mine?

One of my weird symptoms (im not diagnosed but i have all the symptoms and a common comorbidity; EDS) is itchy legs. Ive only seen ONE other person mention this symptom. It only affects me when i stand still for too long (so not a rash) and is accompanied by my legs and a scar on my wrist turning purple, aka blood pooling. My dysautonomia seems to be worsening as of late as I've fallen twice after getting up (like my head would go blank and my body like jelly, but not fully fainting as i maintained consciousness and got better once i hit the ground) and flopped onto the ground before i fully fell one other time in the span of a week.

Rashes and swelling also can be MCAS which is HUGELY co-occurring in those of us with POTS.

🙃🙃 I had a heart Dr tell me Pots isn't real and "tossed around a lot". This is literally every issue I've been dealing with and the ultimate diagnosis from Drs was "idk bestie, cope."
