The most deserving young person- male or female- of such an award. Miss Sheppard has been all business from the 400, 800, 1600, cross country and the way she leads her teammates to victories in the 4 x 400 relays on the biggest of stages. Her ceiling is insurmountable to include entering races and defeating or pushing young men to the absolute limits. Great choice by Gatorade. ☝🏾
