@9.cello and I met at Amamoto a year ago, and we kept talking online before finally being able to meet up again in April. Thanks to his invitation, I had the opportunity to visit the exclusive, members-only restaurant La Chouette.🙇🏻‍♂️😍🙋🏻‍♂️

Founded in 2021 by owner Seigo Takei and his wife, chef Keiko Takahashi, La Chouette reflects the couple’s remarkable culinary journey. Before returning to Japan, they ran the acclaimed Keiko à Nob Hill in San Francisco, which held a Michelin star for 10 consecutive years. Prior to that, they also earned a Michelin star at the historic El Paseo in Mill Valley. They returned to Tokyo during the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately decided to remain there. 🌟

The meal began with asparagus and prosciutto, a deceptively simple dish that showcased the quality of its ingredients. The asparagus was perfectly tender, while the prosciutto added just the right amount of savory richness. 😍👍👍👍
