Izumi Kato's exhibition closed this past Sunday, June 28, and with it, Meridiano closes for the season.

Over five months, the light moved across these works the way it moves across the coast itself: low and lateral in winter, warmer and more diffuse through spring, and now giving way to the first rains of summer. The suspended hitogata above our oculus, the stone figures, the watchful bronzes— each held its quiet conversation with this space, season after season.

Thank you to Izumi Kato for the vision and generosity behind this exhibition, and to everyone who visited, returned, and looked closely. Meridiano will reopen in January 2027.
