The PR team at DCHFA hosted the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications summer cohort of the CJC X DC program. The students are exploring careers in communications and journalism during their summer in Washington, D.C.
The visit included a presentation on the Agency led by Keme Arigbe, DCHFA PR Specialist. The interactive activities were designed to reinforce public relations concepts and provide an inside look at government
PR.
The staff at Jubilee Housing provided a guided tour of Ontario Place, a 52-unit affordable housing development of which DCHFA is an investor. During the tour students met Jubilee’s communications team then explored the property, viewed residential units, and learned about Jubilee Farms, an innovative aquaponics operation designed to support residents and strengthen the community.
We were happy to provide students with an inside look at the role our PR team plays in supporting the Agency. @jubileehousing @ufjschool
