Four years ago today I laid in a hospital bed holding you for the first time, and even though I thought I knew how much I loved you and looked forward to the future with you, I could have never imagined how good it has turned out to be.

You are funny and witty- always telling jokes and making us laugh
You are smart beyond belief- you remember EVERYTHING, you love learning new things and pick things up so quickly
You are gentle and kind- you are such a good friend and cousin and are always looking out for the people you love
You love with your whole heart- You give the best hugs, and are always wanting to be close
You are fun and adventurous- saying yes to any idea or plan i have and usually adding your ideas to it

This past year has been a big one for her, starting a new school (that she loves), making new friends, trying new sports and activities and overall just being so brave and ambitious! I honestly could not be more proud of this little girl and the incredible person she’s growing into.
