I’m a proud girl mom (Tate is 2.5yrs old), athlete, high school teacher & health coach. My husband and I met through rugby (we’ve both repped Team Canada!) and now I play provincial flag football.

This is 41 🎉

Last year I tore my meniscus (for the 3rd time) on my bday, so I’d say this year was much better 🤣 I was super sick for the last few days leading up to this, so was praying I would be ok to race, and even though I wasn’t 100%, I raced my little lungs out, mouth breathed the whole time, hit 185bpm but came 3rd in women’s solo 🥉Today I survived off of electrolytes, c4 and bourbon street. And it was perfect 🫶

Blessed and thankful for my health and my family and 41 years of an incredible life 💛

Rest day tomorrow, then back at it. T minus 61 days until our Olympic Oval Mixed Doubles race 💪🏼

This is 4️⃣

Four years ago today I laid in a hospital bed holding you for the first time, and even though I thought I knew how much I loved you and looked forward to the future with you, I could have never imagined how good it has turned out to be.

You are funny and witty- always telling jokes and making us laugh
You are smart beyond belief- you remember EVERYTHING, you love learning new things and pick things up so quickly
You are gentle and kind- you are such a good friend and cousin and are always looking out for the people you love
You love with your whole heart- You give the best hugs, and are always wanting to be close
You are fun and adventurous- saying yes to any idea or plan i have and usually adding your ideas to it

This past year has been a big one for her, starting a new school (that she loves), making new friends, trying new sports and activities and overall just being so brave and ambitious! I honestly could not be more proud of this little girl and the incredible person she’s growing into.

BRONZE MEDAL 🥉 Flag Football Nationals 2026

Getting the honor to coach these badass ballers at the flag football Nationals in Montreal this past weekend was truly an incredible experience. Not only are these women insane athletes, but they are driven, confident, kind and funny AF - Iv’e coached enough teams from other sports to know when you get a special group of real ones you just know, and this was definitely it.

Thankyou for trusting me to lead, for believing in my systems/plans, and for allowing me to do it ever so passionately 🤣 You know I’m ALWAYS going for the 🏆

I’m excited to learn from this experience as a coach, and am looking forward to growing myself and the game with @football.alberta to be competing for gold in the near future!

Can’t wait for next year 💪🏼😈
