Met up with this sweet, five-year-old and her mom today in a coffee shop, close to the hospital where my husband was having post-operative therapy. The public library where I usually hang out for the hour was closed due to air-conditioning problems. But, as serendipity goes, it turned out to be a happy ending for all. Kate ended up taking home a signed copy of my book BATHTIME FUN! and I had the pleasure of connecting with a budding young reader and her delightful mom! 🥰 I was so surprised and touched when upon leaving, Kate stopped by my table for a hug!
