There are 194 caves with more than 7200 statues sculpted right into a 142-meter-tall vertical mountain.
This precarious cliffside engineering began around 384 AD 🫣
Impressive. And the attached walking construction you see now was made for visitors not long time ago. Imagine people carving the vertical mountain with no ladder or any other modern equipment.
