The other day, we had our first private screening of @ife_thesequel in Abuja, and my heart is so full. ❤️

There was laughter (exactly where I hoped there would be 😂), quiet moments, thoughtful conversations, a beautiful Q&A… and then, to my complete delight, a standing ovation at the end. 🥹👏🏾

One of my favourite parts of the evening was our little message book. People took the time to write down how the film made them feel, and reading those notes afterwards reminded me why we tell stories in the first place. I’ll be sharing some of them here too. They are so generous and deeply encouraging.

Thank you to everyone who came, watched, laughed, reflected, asked questions, stayed to chat, and made the evening feel so special. You gave this film such a warm embrace.
