She drove two hours from Ventura for this tattoo.

After a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction following cancer, she had been searching since 2021 for someone who could create what she was envisioning. Something delicate, asymmetrical, and flowing with her body.

Not a tattoo to cover everything up, but one that would help her feel connected to her body again.

We completed this piece over two days.

When we finished, she teared up. She said she no longer avoided looking in the mirror or faced it with sadness. Instead, seeing her reflection had become a genuinely happy experience.

I cried right there with her.

This work isn’t about erasing what your body has been through. It’s about adding a new chapter on top of it.

That’s why I do this.
