Last week/end was a heatwave like I’ve never experienced. We coped the best we could at home… until we experienced three power outages in 48 hours and decided it was time to find alternate accommodations.
How lucky we are that my mom is so nearby and always so joyfully willing to host us at “Camp Jojo.” After one of the sweatiest nights in memory, we ended up having a lovely, quiet, long holiday weekend.
