Three years ago, I stood before the school board because adults in power were proposing to force teachers to out transgender students to their parents. I spoke because every child deserves to be safe, seen, and loved.

Tonight, more than 30 people gathered to handwrite postcards for our campaign.

Different room. Different fight. Same reason.

I’ve always believed leadership is about showing up for people—especially when it’s hard. Whether it’s standing up for vulnerable kids or knocking doors to build a better future for Tennessee, this campaign has never been about politics. It’s about people.
