My painting “In The Afternoon” 2025 lost in the international delivery
A painting cannot simply disappear into thin air

I don’t have the right words for how much this hurts. This painting was on its way to an international exhibition- and somewhere along that journey, it was either brazenly stolen, or lost through someone’s carelessness.

After a long search, the postal service told me they just could not locate it….
It has now been 6 months since any trace of it was tracked

But it didn’t vanish. It was packed carefully with my own hands, framed, transported, signed, handled by real people at every checkpoint. It exists somewhere, right now

I still believe in human connection- that if enough people see this, it will find its way back. If you ever come across it- resold, in a private collection, in a gallery, anywhere- please, contact me 🙏🏼 This is not how a piece of someone’s work, soul and time should be treated.

To other artists: please be careful when shipping internationally. If you can, ship your work rolled rather than framed- now I find it much more safe for the painting
Put a tracker in your package if you can. I wish someone had told me that before
