Our Executive Director, Anneshia Hardy, reminds us that while rage can be a powerful response to injustice, it cannot be the destination.

Throughout history, movements have endured not simply because people named what was wrong, but because they built what was needed. From Fannie Lou Hamer's Freedom Farm Cooperative to the Black Panther Party's Free Breakfast Program, liberation has always been rooted in tangible work, collective care, and community.

If our politics only teaches us to critique, but never equips us to create, cynicism becomes the outcome.

As Anneshia says in this conversation, the question isn't only What are you resisting? It's also What are you building?
