Danne Ekström

OCR400 European Champion 🥇
I still can’t quite believe it’s real and I think it will take some time to sink in!

Kept working hard, doing my own thing, and kept progressing through the rounds - then all of a sudden, I am the winner 🥺😅

The OCR 400M is my favourite distance. I like how tight it is and that you cannot make mistakes. I locked it in and kept it clean and fast. I had a blast racing the best in Europe 🥳

Everyone put out some crazy performances, but I dared to take it faster. My final run ended up being 1:38.

I can’t believe this has happened. Thank you so much for all of the support on course, and thank you to my family and to my love for cheering from home 😘
I’m sad they didn’t get to see it in person, but this was never meant to be an A Race 😅

Very excited to do it all again in Ireland next month! 🚀

And a big thanks to all my sponsors who believed in me 3 years ago, back then we dreamed big and to now have those big dreams came true is wild🥹
