This year has brought far too many accidents in the mountains. 💔 Kalie — the Matterhorn has been a mountain I’ve loved testing myself on, and I’m sure you had the best time up there, feeling strong, confident and at home on the mountain. Ida — Romsdalseggen will never be the same again. We shared your last Nesaksla together and talked about dreams and the future ahead. We hugged and I waved to you and Miguel, and you both looked so happy as you continued running uphill towards Romsdalseggen. I will always carry that moment with me. My heart goes out to the parents, families and loved ones of these two beautiful souls. Life is so fragile. And perhaps the reminder is to try to live our lives as truly as possible — close to the people we love, and true to our beliefs and dreams. Hold your people a little closer ❤️
