Hi, I’m Lena! My parents dubbed me the (un)Official Mascot of the @wvstateparks and state forests because I’ve spent A LOT of time in them. My parents love taking pictures of me and I love going to the different state parks and forests, so I guess everyone wins. But mostly me.

This weekend, we explored Canaan Valley Resort State Park with @ascendwv. If you haven’t been there, you should totally go; and if you have, you should go again.

It rained a lot, but that just meant there was more creeks and streams to play in. I got to stay in the hotel that’s in the state park, cause I’m really important. There were two pools there, one inside and one outside, but I couldn’t go in them…that’s fine. I’d rather swim in mud puddles. They had a lot of really good sticks just laying around and a ton of wild life, like deer, squirrels, and a gopher—whose name was Pete—but they all kept running off. I don’t think they got the memo of what a big deal I am.

We are going to more state parks and state forests all the time, so be sure to tune in as I go on more Wonderful and Wild adventures.
