Colstoun Arts

The first week of the Engine House Studio with @georginastone_

This space has already fulfilled all our wishes for it. In the Drawing Room Studio, we’ve been limited to artists whose techniques are relatively neat and contained. This week, Georgina has been working late into the evening, dripping and pooling paint and liquids all over the studio. The energy of the space is punctuated with golden light piercing the windows, finding its way into her compositions, and the sound of combine harvesters on the farm in the distance, cropping the wheat mimicking her energy in the studio.

Information on completed works will be available at the conclusion of the residency. DM or email to receive further information.
