The Patina Art Residency returns for its second year with Rooted Realms, inviting leading galleries and patrons to nominate existing works by artists whose practice speaks to place, identity, impact and sustainability.

Presented with LUX and Quartet, the residency brings together galleries, jurors, artists and Patina destinations in a shared exchange between art, hospitality and place. This year, that exchange continues at Patina Osaka.

パティーナ・アート・レジデンシーが第2回を迎えます。

今年のテーマは「Rooted Realms（土地に根ざす世界）」。土地や文化、社会や環境とのつながりに目を向けるアーティストの作品を、世界各地のギャラリーやアートコレクター、芸術支援者から推薦いただきます。

2025年に始動した本プログラムでは、アーティストがパティーナのホテルや地域に滞在し、その土地からインスピレーションを得ながら新たな作品を創作します。生み出された作品の一つは、パティーナ・コレクションに収蔵されます。

第2回となる今年は、パティーナ大阪がレジデンシーの舞台に。
アートを通じて土地、人、文化がつながる、新たな創作の旅が始まります。
