Checking out the Poster Sessions at the 2026 Research In Science & Engineering (RISE) Symposium. This is the first year we have a RISE 8 Week Symposium, which is comprised of community college students and other 4-year university scholars!

RISE is a summer research experience designed for continuing UCR undergraduates, incoming UCR transfer students, community college students, and other 4-year university visiting scholars. Participants work under the supervision of a faculty mentor on a cutting-edge research project. The program features 1:1 faculty mentoring, professional development opportunities, an immersive experience in the UCR research community, and an undergraduate symposium.
