How this peaceful protest turned into a black day for justice, when police suddenly began throwing tear gas bombs and pataka bombs. There was no escape and they had closed all the paths. I could not shoot more than this... suddenly it felt like the police were terrorists.. and we had to find our way through their terrorism.. and protect ourselves and our belongings... and run from their charge. The group I was with, suddenly split up... as each one of us had to be safe. They charged at everyone... and kept at it in the most brutal way. As there seemed to be no escape.

I managed to escape the lathi charge, but My friend got badly struck by it and wounded both her feet. She had to rush to the hospital and take tetanus injection. It was a black day in the history of Independent India, when students were been treated so ruthlessly for no fault of theirs.

The Indian Mainstream Media today is such a disgrace. Everyone single of them is lying about the protest and how police were the victims instead of all us who were silently protesting, just like Gandhi. The Media is lying, the politicians sitting at the top are lying. Is there anyone left to will hear our voice?
If you know me, you would know that I would never lie about all this. This is my first hand account. It got really scary!

The IT Cell of our country will surely try to remove my post illegally (for sharing this truth with you all). As legally they dont have a right to do it, just for voicing my opinion. Or perhaps they might even delete my account. Who knows... but the time has for each of us to stand up against suppression and injustice. To stand up against a government whose only agenda, is to use their power for their own purpose.

### To protest is every Indians constitutional right. And through several protests over several years, our country was able to bring about so many reforms. Our fore fathers have been protesting for us... fasting for us... We certainly cannot go back and reciprocate what they did for us. We can only pass it on the next generation.

Sad day in the history of India. Why a dialogue cannot be established beats me. Why is the government stonewalling? What motive do they have??

I have been a journalist, and written reports in the past for injustice done to others. I never thought that someday i will have to report about my own story. Press & Journalism are supposed to be the 4th pillar of every democracy. Through this 4th pillar, the democracy remains under check. Through this medium, the government is held accountable. We cannot go and speak to the ministers, but the press can. They hold that power. Unfortunately in India, we are going through the saddest times. Every mainstream media is bought by the government to spread fake news. The independent journalists who are daring to speak today, are either being offered huge sums of money to stop saying the truth, or they are facing death threats everyday. The it Cell of the country is illegally supressing the voice of every individual who speaks the truth, through their abusive bot trolling, and illegally deleting their posts. Prime minister doesn't feel the need to give a single press conference in last 12 years. All this is happening in our country right now, which has never happened before, in history of Independent India. With this scenario, prevailing, if you are still not affected by any of this right now and if your life is going on smoothly today, its only a matter of time, when things will start escalating and start affecting not just you but every person around, living here in the country. Please dont take this lightly.
