Detroit has long been a hotspot for celebrity sightings, from Motown legends and hip-hop artists to Pistons players and Hollywood actors passing through the city. As new boutiques, luxury retailers, and trendy shops continue to pop up all over metro Detroit, there are more places than ever to shop for both locals and the occasional celebrity. A wide variety of fashion finds home at Old Soul Vintage on Cass Avenue in Detroit. Owner Mary Capps’s curated collection draws many a celebrity. Rapper, producer, and actor, André 3000 came in to buy a beanie. Singer Kesha came in for some band tees. Singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo came in for, “lots of Y2K, 60s, some dresses, low-rise pants,” says Capps.
