Featured in HYBRID WORLDS curated by THE ELEMENTAL
@the.elementalHYBRID WORLDS brings together seven international artists whose video works draw from the natural world, and return with something else entirely. The works gathered in HYBRID WORLDS occupy a charged threshold between ecological fact and dreamscape, between the visible and the felt, amidst analog process and technological transformation.
LUNAR THRESHOLD 360º (2026) isolates the moon from its cosmic context and suspends it in an undefined earthbound void, poised between light and shadow, realism and abstraction. Built from a photographic image created in 2024 and expanded through CGI rotation using lunar surface data mapped by NASA, layered fog, shadow, and theatrical illumination, the work transforms a familiar celestial body into a slow, seamless moving tableau. Both object and question, it suggests a threshold between the observed world and the imagined one.
