a day agoYes, and - “if you want to be known in the industry”. We don’t all have the same aspirations, however. I know, I’m gonna get hammered with the “but social media is a huge part of it”. I know, I’ve built it. But I’ve also seen a lot of very “present” techs in the online space, yet when their real life clients show up for the advertisement, they realize the advertisement was false 💀 Your marketing is an essential tool, undeniably. Showing up is non-negotiable. But if you sell to real clients, and not other businesses, you have to match your skills to your speeches. And guess what? Consistency beats talent any time. And there are seasons in everyone’s careers when you have to decide where your focus and that consistency should be applied 🤍
